Honest moments, strong portraits, and a calm, grounded approach

88+ five-star reviews • Nearly 10 years experience • Coverage starting at $1,500

I approach weddings with a focus on creating images that feel natural, honest, and lasting. My goal is to document the day without turning it into a production while still making time for strong portraits, beautiful light, and meaningful moments throughout the day.

A Calm, Professional Presence on a Busy Day

Weddings move quickly, timelines shift, weather changes, and emotions run high throughout the day. I try to bring a calm, observant presence into that environment while helping things stay relaxed and natural. My approach is hands-on when needed and low-profile when it matters most.

  • Calm direction without over-posing
  • Experience handling fast-moving timelines
  • Natural candid moments balanced with strong portraits
  • Reliable communication before and during the wedding

There are plenty of photographers who can make beautiful images. The harder thing to find is someone you trust to show up early, stay prepared, handle pressure, and treat your wedding day with the seriousness it deserves.

Before photography became my full-time career, I spent 15 years as a Cincinnati police officer. That experience still shapes how I work. I’m early. I’m prepared. I pay attention. I don’t overbook myself, and I don’t treat weddings like interchangeable dates on a calendar.

My goal is simple: be dependable, keep the day moving without adding stress, and create photographs that feel natural, honest, and worth returning to years from now.

Testimonials
Large wedding party poses together on a blue steel bridge with city skyline in background.

Brian was able to lead our large group to make sure we got all of the best shots in a timely manner, as well as working a wedding of over 300 guests. Most impressive, however, was that he was truly able to catch all the little moments and the personalities of nearly everyone there! I couldn't believe how well his photography helped to replay the whole day. Looking through the hundreds of bright, detailed, and crisp photos was better than watching a movie of the wedding.
